CineAsia 2025, one of the region’s most important cinema industry events and a key meeting point for cinema operators, film studios, technology providers, and industry partners, has officially come to a close. This year marked the fourth time the event was held in Thailand.
During the event, attendees had the opportunity to preview an exciting 2026 film lineup from major global studios including Sony, Warner Bros., Paramount, Disney, and Universal, alongside leading Asian studios such as Galaxy and China Film Group.
A special highlight was the presentation of Thai films from M Studio, which showcased the strength and potential of Thailand’s film industry to international audiences.
The overall program clearly reflected that 2026 will be a strong year for cinema, with a diverse range of high-quality films set to be enjoyed on the big screen across the region.
The conference sessions also offered valuable insights into the growth of film industries in various countries, particularly the rising influence of local and Asian cinema. This evolution demonstrates that the industry is no longer driven solely by Hollywood, giving audiences greater access to diverse and compelling content.
